Years
ago I kept a personal site at eloign.com (which is now directed
here). I published some letters I had written there, and this
was my
introduction:
After
some self-reflection, it has occured to me the majority of my
heartfelt writing has been
in
the form
of
letters.
I would love to hear from people who read these letters. I have
put so few in the public eye, but those I have, have been well
received.
Letter to an
Understudy I - written and given to an employee several years ago.
The
Football Letter - this letter is included in Sapphic
Epistolary (in the Research section of this site), but here
is the rest of the story surrounding it. I wrote this story
some time in 1983 - a few weeks after the letter. The story
around my English teacher's response is interesting, but for
a different forum. The short of that tale is another teacher
requested to use this story in a section of one of her classes
on the form of letter writing as literature. Not bad for a
16 year old.
Who
Thrives & Who Does Not - an e-mail written to another
Internet business owner.
